Toby is an 8 y/o 14hh chestnut non-papered Polish type Arabian. He is about 14hh and right out of a story book! He has adequate ground manners and can even do the Arab picture "pose". He leads and can do well in a halter show arena.
He has possible DSLD in his hind fetlocks but could also be an Arabian breed conformational flaw. He has not been tested. He carries me (118lbs) easily. Great for an intermediate level child or small person. I would not recommend anyone over 120lbs on a regular basis.
He is currently in intermediate ground, ride and behavior training. He handles well in-hand and is very responsive to commands during ground work. His riding is improving though he seems to like to stay at a confident walk. He is being trained to move off the leg and easy backing while mounted. He is being trained under a dressage saddle and have moved on from the rope halter to a bridle with a loose ring French link bit and is responding well.
